In this "how it's made" episode of building the EMG-6 we look at how we go about bending the leading edge for the horizontal stabilizer using the pneumatic tube bending machine.

In this episode of building the EMG-6 we will be assembling the horizontal stabilizer rib sub-assemblies.

In this video we show some of the processes by which we load test many of the components on the EMG-6 electric motor glider. We have a test fixture which we have built from steel tube and a hydraulic system off of an old dump truck. We have a 10,000 pounds load cell and digital readout for keeping track of the load imposed on individual components as we pull them to failure.
