As many of you know, we try and participate in the hints for homebuilders video series on a volunteer basis as often as possible. Throughout the year, you will see many videos that we have done. The entire project of hints for homebuilders is really coming to fruition as a go to spot for aircraft builders. EAA is building a library of short video clips on different aspects of building experimental aircraft. If you’ve got questions about how to do something on an airplane, I would give the hints for homebuilders section a try. Way more videos that I can keep track of today.
This week’s hint for homebuilder is one that I did on these new zip ties. Really interesting. Take a look.

We begin the shop Notes blog for September 2017 a little behind the power curve. We have been rebuilding the website for the last month. We have literally had to re-create a large amount of data that was lost as well as rebuild the website itself. There is a lot of new improvements that will be happening on the website to make the building process easier in the future. We are excited about some of the new changes that we are undergoing but we are not having as much time to work on the EMG-6 prototypes. Which is probably just as well. We are in the process of developing the new electric motor installation and will have some new information on that in the very near future. And we are also waiting on the fabric for the prototype with the Polini 250 in the mid fuselage mount configuration. This month has also been extremely busy building parts and fulfilling orders for existing EMG-6 customers.
Martin, One of our Hawaii builders, sent along a link to an article on electric aircraft that I thought I would post for you.
