The EMG-5 website offers a unique and exciting opportunity for advertising with a limited number of banner ad positions now available on our homepage. This project is in the very early stages of development.

Since this aircraft involves a relatively new technology (electric aircraft) we expect the interest to increase exponentially. The website will be developed in conjunction with our aircraft as the project proceeds, we are propagating the website with high-value content including 3-D modeling, plans, videos of both building and flight, and a participatory web strategy.

If you believe EMG-5’s free plans program provides a valuable service to the aviation community, you may participate in our efforts with your contributions and benefit at the same time.

By giving away 100% of all of the information necessary to manufacture and build this project, we anticipate a worldwide interest in the website, the aircraft and as well as the actual building of the aircraft. 100% of the plans will be available to download from the website. This model should allow for thousands of individuals to start the process of building an aircraft without the typical substantial initial investment.

We anticipate that this website will go viral within the aviation community, celebrating a “back to our roots” aviation option at a low cost to the builder and the added plus of building under part 103.

The advantage to the advertiser is that the interest level should continue to increase as the aircraft reaches the prototype test flight milestone. The advertising is on a month-to-month basis with virtually no risk to the advertiser.

We anticipate a market audience that is similar in nature to people who watch programs like " How it's Made" , "Myth Busters", and obviously visitors to aviation websites like "EAA".

Advertising on the EMG-5 website is very simple. There are a total of 10 (and only 10) primary multipage advertising slots and 10 single page specialty slots that are available on the EMG-5 website.

The advertising space will be sold each month by simple auction. The high bidder will be given the premium first choice locations within the web site and each subsequent high bidder will be given the next most desirable location.

The primary multipage advertising will occur on the top 10 webpages.

The advertising spaces are sold at a rate of (price per 1000 total website hits).

For example, if the bid is $.01 per thousand hits and the total website activity for the month is, say, 250,000 hits, the fee for the month would equal $2.50.

Another example if the bid was $.25 per 1000 hits and the total website activity for the month was 250,000 hits, the fee for the month would equal $62.50.

The ad space on the right side of the website may be as large as 300 x 300 pixels. It is important to recognize that when a browser is opened on a computer with the screen that is relatively small the ad space on the right side of the screen may not in fact show up without the user scrolling to the right. However most screens in use today by the average user will show all of the web content simultaneously.

The ad space on the left side of the website is considered premium space and its size may be as large as 200 pixels wide and 400 pixels in height.
